Welcome to Cat of the Week! Meet Gypsy-Rose, an adorable rescue who lives with her mama, Kristy, in South Carolina. You can see what she gets up to on Instagram @gypsyrosekittykat. Here's what Kristy has to say about her furry BFF:

Hi! My sweet baby's name is Gypsy-Rose. She was rescued from the side of the road where she was left all alone and hungry. It had been storming previously, and she was so dirty and covered in fleas. She was brought my office for me to "see" and I knew I had to save her, as she was on her way to the shelter. Gypsy-Rose came home with me and she has brought so much love and joy to our home.

My boyfriend and I are head over heels for her. She weighed a tiny 12 ounces when we rescued her and now at almost 5 months she's a little over 4 pounds. She's still tiny, but very healthy and super hyper (especially at night). She loves to snuggle and "make biscuits" when she's tired, and she likes to carried around like a little baby.

We lost our boxer, Izzy, in January of this year to Lymphoma and were very hesitant about getting a new pet. We are so glad we adopted Gypsy-Rose. She is the sweetest little girl. She does have an Instagram account @gypsyrosekittykat and I've found that the cat community on IG is the best cure for a bad day! Nothing better than scrolling a feed full of sweet kittens, cats and other animals.

We couldn't agree more! There's nothing like a good scroll through Cats-tagram on a blustery Monday morning. You can follow ours here!

Thanks for stopping by, Gypsy Rose! And remember, if you want your furry BFF to be featured as our cat of the week, send us an email with their story and a few favorite pictures to
